I need a fake remote for the Wii

Saturday, August 9, 2008

I cannot call it a wii-mote. Do people actually call it that? I dont like to use non-words.
Anyway, Liam really really likes the remotes. So much so that in the morning when he gets up, he gestures wildly at the top of the armoire (where all the wii crap is) until (John, stop reading now) I stop pretending I dont know what he wants and I give it to him. My husband doesn't like this because the Wii is precious. But I always put the wrist strap on him. And lately he has been accepting the nunchuk... which is cheaper. So that is a step in the right direction.

I highly recommend a fake Wii-mote. We had purchased 3 extra remotes before we bought the Wii-Play game. It comes with an extra remote, so we gave that one to Owen. It's working for now.

ROTFL!! Malaina does the same thing - she imitates the big kids but I give her a nunchuk and she is happy as can be! Great moms think alike :) It is one of my favorite sights - Katie and Matthew playing a real game and Malaina trying to keep up with her "fake" wii-mote (and yes, people really do call it that).
